Beau Jangles

Beau Jangles is a folk/roots band who play mostly original songs plus radical reinterpretations of some well known or more obscure covers.  The core of the band is Jonathan Roberts on guitar, vocals, harmonic and very occasional mandolin, and David Edington on vocals, fiddle, mandolin and occasional bass or guitar.

There are a number of additional Beau Janglers who play with us for some gigs.  On great vocals and guitar and occasional bass is long time pal Pip Hodge, and on drums and percussion is Will Hayter.  This frees us up to play some twin electric guitar country rock material for fun...

We play folk clubs and music venues such as Hertford Corn Exchange and Club 85 in Hitchin at the regular "Roots 'n' Roll Café night which I co-promote and puts on roots music with a groove.

We played at Hitchin's "Rhythms of the World" festival in August which was a blast!
